Signed in, a narrow rail runs down the left edge of every page:

• The SlateData logo at the top takes you back to the workspace you were last in.
• Below it is each workspace you're a member of in the current organization, as its icon. Hover one to see its name and what's in it; click it to open its Overview. People who manage the workspace also get Change image or icon and Workspace settings on that card.
• New workspace (the plus) creates a workspace, for organization creators, admins and owners.
• At the foot: Search, Explore and your account menu.

On a phone, the rail folds away: the menu button at the top (Open navigation) opens it as a drawer.

Click Search in the rail, or press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere, to open Search or jump to…. It finds your workspaces, slide decks and visualizations by title, the settings of workspaces you manage, and pages such as Shared with me, Explore, All workspaces, All organizations and My profile. Every word you type must match; use the arrow keys and Enter to go.

Your initial at the bottom of the rail opens the account menu:

The menu also switches between the light and dark theme.

Shared with me (find it with Search) lists the slide decks and visualizations other people have shared with you by name, even from workspaces you aren't in. You can view them, but to edit one you need to be a member of its workspace.

Explore in the rail browses what's been shared in your organization, in three tabs: Workspaces, Slide Decks and Visualizations. It lists example workspaces SlateData has featured (marked Via Example), and slide decks and visualizations their editors shared with List on Explore turned on (marked Shared). A slide deck appears once it has a chart on it.
