Organizations

An organization holds your workspaces, members and billing. Create one, switch between them, and manage one in Organization settings.

Your Organizations

Everyone belongs to the Default organization, which can't be left, renamed or deleted. You can belong to others too: switch between them under Organization in the account menu, and see them all, with invitations waiting for you, on All organizations.

  1. To start one, choose Create an organization in the account menu.
  2. Enter an Organization name and click Create organization. You become its owner and switch to it.
  3. New organizations start with a free trial. Creators, admins and owners count as paid seats; viewers are free.

Organization Settings

Organization admins and owners open Organization settings from the account menu. Its tabs:

TabWhat's there
OverviewThe organization's name, Allow AI for this organization, its plan and billing status, and, for owners, Delete organization
MembersEveryone in the organization with their role; Invite member and Pending invites (see Permissions & Roles)
WorkspacesEvery workspace in the organization, private ones included, with its members and settings. Add me to it joins one you aren't in
GroupsGroups of people to add to workspaces together
DatasourcesDatasources shared with every workspace in the organization
StatsHow many users, visualizations, slide decks, workspaces and datasources there are, and what's new or active lately
ActivityWho did what and when: sign-ins, membership and sharing changes, deletes, exports, queries and assistant use, filtered by person, kind or date, with Export CSV
BillingThe plan, seats and status. Only owners can Subscribe, Manage payment & invoices, or Cancel subscription

Record queries on the Activity tab logs every SQL query run in the organization — its datasource, text, row count and timing, never the results. It's on by default; admins can turn it off.

When a Trial or Subscription Ends

The organization becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, and everyone can still view its workspaces, but nobody can create or change anything and AI is paused. An owner restores it with Reactivate on the Billing tab.
